PS - this is such a good point. Rachel deserves a TON of credit for how the merge went down because we all spent HOURS going in circles about how it's not Rhodes vs. Crete... and then it ended up as Rhodes vs. Crete. And I didn't realize how much people were blindsided with the Jess vote until after I found out how much work Rachel put it to keep everyone off guard during that vote.

i'm actually like really surprised to hear that!! when you told tyler after the boot that i was the one you felt duped by i thought you were just... making stuff up and trying to get me in trouble with him? i didn't think i was actually trying to like 'play' you that hard on it all, in my mind i was just trying to go along with an affirm the plan that i had heard you had already been told.

i'm sorry if that came across as like PERSONAL as a result it really wasn't supposed to be that! obviously i came into the merge with the impression that jessica was never going to want to work with me so when her name popped up and i had already been developing good relationships with genie/lindsey/ricard on our prior tribe it seemed like a good time to kind of earn some trust with that group. i really did mean when i said i would love if i could have got back together with crete further down the line things just seems too stratified after those first two rounds to really take the leap.

ALSO as for jacob, i don't have much of a relationship with him. he told me at one point "i wish we didn't have to talk about non-game stuff, i just want to talk game" and at that point i was just like... okay well i don't really want to talk game with you so we just won't talk i suppose! we did chat the other night and decided we'd just keep playing up hating one another because having a 'rival' can be beneficial but obviously we weren't going to be working together any time soon. i think he's a perfectly alright guy that i.... don't happen to click all that much with!

I appreciate that Rachel, and fwiw, much love to you too. Our relationship was really just starting right when the merge happened, and we didn't even really *bond* I felt until *after* I had already betrayed Genie and Ricard, and so things were touchy to say the least but I felt like you were sincere and I am grateful for the relationship we formed in the time we did. I was definitely rooting for you.

I love comparing everyones perspective! Very insightful and your decisions totally make sense, no hard feelings at all, this game can eat away at us mentally... all this time on the jury has cleared my head haha.

For the Jess vote - Genie, Will, Lindsey, Tyler and Shirin weren't saying much in terms of that vote. In fact, Ricard and I never even mentioned names, we just talked about "the split vote" and I, like a dummy, assumed we were both talking about the Tyler and Bret split vote.  So when you reached out like 30 mins before the vote to confirm that we were all set for the Tyler/Bret split and then betrayal, you even went through why it has to be Tyler and why it's good that Bret is the backup. So after Tribal, it felt like you were simply managing me to ensure that the vote went as planned. But I can see why this would surprise you, you clearly thought everyone was telling me the same thing, but it was just you! haha

But you'll hear in my video confessional that I was so skeptical of the Tyler/Bret split vote, like... WHY Bret? But I put my faith in Jay's relationship with Lindsey and it backfired. I should have listened to my gut and gone to Tyler with the split vote.

Jacob was really great at the first swap, but at the merge, he was just off to me. Maybe I only liked him when we were talking about non-game related things? lol

I would vote for Will if - and only if - he’s able to own up to the fact that he played a weasel of a game, and can put SOME kind of intention behind it. Like if being a bad liar and a terrible ally was actually a strategy, I’m all ears.

But yes, there are many show winners who prove it all in the last few episodes--make a move at the last minute in front of the jury and you're good! Whatever route you took to be able to be in the position to do that *arguably* is fair, even if imperfect.

Doesn't mean we don't get to be bitter af if we want either tho.
